DIRECTOR OF REVENUE

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
·Drive the accuracy of accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP and recently issued revenue recognition guidance under ASC 606
·Manage, mentor and develop the Revenue staff; identify and invest in skills for future
·Oversee Revenue teams’ work product e.g. reconciliation of revenue adjustments, journal entries, credits, stop payments (for cash-based recognition) ensuring proper documentation is maintained to support close process and SOX controls
·Update, maintain, and develop workflow and standard operating procedures for Revenue and Accounts Receivable areas; create and implement standard documentation process for Revenue Recognition for product sales
·Extensive functional knowledge to resolve and manage complex projects and plan resources
·Strategically communicate changes as critical to achieving business success; create annual operation goals for the team to achieve strategies
·Review, maintain, and suggest modifications, as appropriate, to the current SOX and audit-related process and procedures
·Subject matter expert across the organization with respect to Revenue related operations and forecasting
·Review and issue Management Revenue and ad hoc Revenue/Sales reports on a consistent basis
·Partner with accounting department in other functional areas as required
·Ensure alignment of short- and long-term goals with corporate strategies and operational and financial objectives

Requirements:
A minimum of 15+ years’ experience in Revenue

·BA/ BS, or equivalent, CPA and 3 years prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm, a big plus
·Revenue Recognition Experience in a public corporation under ASC606
·Biotechnology, healthcare or health insurance industries, a plus
·NetSuite experience, a plus
·Exceptional interpersonal skills and responsiveness to others
·An ability to multitask, work independently and meet multiple deadlines as required.
·An ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
·Demonstrated ability to think strategically about the role of finance in supporting the company’s strategy
·Strong communicator with the ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers, vendors, and customers as needed
·Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner
·Able to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality
·Ability to work as part of a team
