What You’ll Do:


  • Oversee all company’s finances including revenue, cash flow, expenses, reports and ongoing financial reporting to the executive team, including cost analysis
  • Serve as a strategic financial business partner to the CEO and Executive Management team
  • Manage monthly / quarterly / annual financial close; including leading all project based accounting and ad hoc accounting duties that arise.
  • Oversee all Account Payable/Receivable/Collections and vendor management
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews with the executive team
  • Compile and analyzing account information in order to prepare monthly journal entries
  • Develop and maintain financial models, reporting systems, and databases to facilitate the ability to evaluate and understand all aspects of the company financials
  • Develop and maintain all internal controls and financial policies and procedures
  • Manage the General Accounting & Financial Reporting close
  • Coordinate and perform financial updates with the preparation of monthly financial statements and other reports used to summarize and interpret the current financial position of the company
  • Maintain the G/L and document financial transactions and expenses to make sure they are accurately posted
  • Responsible for budgeting and forecasting; Forecasting growth trends and spending for up to 3-5 years in advance
  • Handle financial reporting for current/potential investors and banks
  • End of year accruals
  • Work to research and implement new accounting systems and processes as needed


Your Skillz:


  • 7-10 years’ applicable experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA a must, MBA a plus)
  • Ability to create and manage complex accounting and reporting systems/processes
  • Successful management experience in accounting and audit procedures/operations
  • Experience owning budget reports and forecasting projections
  • Comfortable creating financial reports for current and potential investors
  • Prior experience working in a fast paced startup environment
  • Strong attention to detail, systems development and organizational management
  • Due diligence, merger/acquisition and business integration experience a plus
  • Demonstrated educational success at a reputable university
  • Committed to continuous learning and improvement (self and team)
  • Ability to learn software quickly e.g. QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • Prior public accounting / audit experience is a plus
